Our lakes and ponds are full of these little critters right now. They are so much fun to watch as the dunk and splash. I love the background blending.

Clever use of papers to tile them and sit them on a layer of ribbons. A trick I need to remember. Well done.

Three generations of lovelies. The horizontal line across the page is quite striking. Love the colours of the palette and how you used them to harmonize with the photo.

I created the photo mask using the paint in both kits, merging and adjusting the opacity. From there grassy elements were added to blend with the photo's greenery. The cluster came last.

Not me. No selfies. Possibly because I do not have a smartphone. I have an ipad but it is way too heavy to use as a selfie camera besides which, I use a good camera for a camera and a phone for a phone. I refuse to pay gazillions for a cell phone that I would rarely use. My SIL sends me photos...

@faerywings Funny you say hydrangeas like a lot of sun. I have one in a big pot on my patio that gets maybe 4 hours of indirect sun a day in the summer and it does really well. I get tons of blooms. I know my mom had one in the middle of her lawn in bright sun and it grew huge. Different...
