May I join the club too??? :cool: One just never knows how one's layouts will be - or not - liked... and I guess some do slip through the cracks too... especially if many people are participating in an event...
Been there done that too... the layouts that get the most praise aren't always the ones I'm particularly proud of... not that I'm complaining about an unexpected Standing O... or even a GSO...

I think you are right. Pocket style used to be all the rave but now one rarely sees a pocket page... super versatile and practical, but not as impressive as art journaling, pocket style tends to be rather private... mostly for those who document and journal without the need to attract public...
I love realistic shadows and followed a nubmer of videos on how to acheive curled/folded effect... And then I somehow got lazy and went back to using basic shadows... I need to rediscover advanced shadows once more...
Ha ha ha.... This made me laugh out loud. The photo is just perfect for the title!!! On a serious note - love all your white space pages - I tend to struggle with those.
