This LO is so beautiful but I have to say the minute I saw it I asked myself if I was in the land of OZ! Then I remember we have to many of these amazing old barns here in Kentucky. You have created a marvelous record here. Congratulations on the Standing O!
What a ham! I'm so sorry for your loss, Karen. OUr four-legged family members are as dear to us as our two-legged family members. This is a sweet memorial.
I agree with all these comments. As a genealogist I treasure LOs that show the character and humanity of people as well as the history. It will help future generations know their forebears as people not just statistics. Although out of the Army for many years, once a soldier always a soldier...
Congratulations on your Standing O, Vicky! This is a bit of family history preserved for the future - your descendants will know you for generations to come!
Fabulous interpretation of the template! I'm a template junkie and this ppocket page really appeals to me even though I'm not actually a pocket scrapper! You might convert me yet!
Simply amazing! @Miki 's extraction and the inspired grandfather in the scene make this LO so otherworldly! This is a wonderful way to capture this bit of family history.
This LO by @pmjames is a wonderful example of keeping the main thing the main thing. I love that wonderful, charismatic photo and how she reinforced it with both the glasses and the black and white copy. Love it!
