My gift is connecting people with their history and the family before them and around them now.

Being a genealogist isn't going to save the world, but it does bring joy to many people and it's what I do. The photos, postcard, and map are from my mother's family.

Having fun with the camera in my new phone, this is us: him in the picture, me taking it.

Last night we watched Marcel the Shell with Shoes On There's a lot of humor in it, but some seriousness too. We watched it on Kanopy, a streaming service we get through our library. You can check it out, or any movie, at imdb.com.

Beautiful use of the dark background with the star and bright flowers. Surprisingly cheerful and happy.
