I wanted to add that my actions add a small several pixel buffer when trimming so that soft edge pixels don't get clipped, causing a harsh effect.

I totally missed this conversation! Yes, you can use the Quality Check actions to do trimming. Or, you can also trim using the Alpha Cutter/Saver actions.
