Thank you so much, Debby, for your sweet words. I'm doing better, just had a setback this past week. Hopefully, I'll get myself back on track. It's been harder than I ever imagined.
Tracy, as always, your words cut straight to my heart. I hope I have a better week, so my next page won't be such a "downer". Thank you for all of your love and support and I'm thankful that you can relate because I know you miss your dad SO much. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
This is just gorgeous, Amy. I love how you used the white background - it makes everything else pop off the page. Love the big bird, the artsy bits and your journaling. Perfect AJ page!
I love you too. Yes, I know I've always been so "buttoned up" and you've helped me to open up and become more vulnerable. I know that I'll really appreciate these pages in a year or two when my "fog" lifts and I get these pages in books.
See?? It IS universal!!!
Yes, it IS, Amy @mimes1 I always think "you couldn't go onto the hard surface floors, could you???"
I was about to say "PARTY at CHERYLS!!!" But then I saw everyone will be home tonight...If we all showed up then they'd worry about you more than they already do...
Thanks for your sweet words, Amy. I always hesitate to "bring everybody else down" but this is a page about how I felt during the past week. I'm so blessed to have the love and support from all of you. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
Hello all.
I've been in a funk for the last week, so haven't felt like chatting. One day, I don't remember which one, I typed some stuff then forgot to hit send. By the time I discovered it, everything was irrelevant. Hahaha
One of the reasons for my "mood" is that everybody is gone -...
I finished mine off last night - Can you say Amazon? I had some specific things I wanted to get for the guys and I knew I could find them on there.
Now, I have to decide what kind of bags to get - I'm definitely not wrapping anymore. I have a few different assortments saved. I need several...
I love your page and the spirit of gratitude that it exudes. Yes, we should ALL be grateful for the opportunity to vote and have a say in our government. I love the sweet picture of the little girl with her American flag and your blending is superb.
Thanks so much for your wonderful and supportive words, Betty Jo. This was a hard page to make, but I felt so much better after I worked through it with my art. I know you know what I'm going through and I know it will get better. I have fewer "bad weeks" than I did have...
I've had a bad week, so I needed to work through it on a layout. What does this have to do with GRATITUDE? I'm grateful that I'm still standing and that I will survive. I am surviving.
Week 3 of the November Art Journaling Challenges has been posted and our word prompt is GRATITUDE.
What does my layout have to do with Gratitude? I'm grateful that I've made it this far and I'm still standing. "I Will Survive" - I AM surviving. I've had a difficult week and since I'm "Grief...
This is amazing, Chris. I love how you used one of the quotes and those hands reaching up - so stunning. I absolutely LOVE your interpretation of this week's challenge!!!
Girl, don't talk to me about "dark" - I've been in a really dark place for the last week. Let is go and get it out. I LOVE your page and you know, we don't judge how dark or light pages are are. They are what they are and they're often a reflection (at least for me) of how our lives are going.
