I love your detailed journaling. I find that on heritage pics, I don't include as much as I normally do, mostly because I wasn't there. But giving a history of who is in the photo is a definite help.

I love men in hats. Your guess about 1941 looks good, or possibly in the 1930's thru the 1950's. I do have military shots, pics of my uncles in uniform and they date back to 1939. One uncle joined in 1939, the other in 1941, the third in 1942. And they all made it safely back home, sometime in...

I have been using it on old scanned images. It takes a bit of fussing with it, but yes, it can look that impressive. It uses artificial intelligence, so I've seen some that look a bit cartoonish, but not too horrid. If you have big blotches on your original photo/face, I would clean that up...

I recently purchased Topaz Lab's Gigapixel AI. It does a great job of fixing/enhancing older images or scanned images, also FB downloads. I bought their trio, DeNoiseAI along with SharpenAI, but I ended up returning those two. I couldn't get them to vary much from Gigapixel. While you pay for...
