CHEERY O
just popping in super-quick to say good morning! I have to leave here around 6.30 so I literally (ok, this time it was *not* literally) inhaled two mugs of coffee before I need to pack up my bag.
The prep meeting went well, I think I have my portion of the presentation settled. Nicole said that the workshops are pretty informal, more of a walk and talk than a lecture. I'm excited to attend the workshops that I picked out. Hopefully, I ll come back with lots ofnerw ideas and inspriation.

Wishing all of you a fantastic day!! Happy Friday!

Leaving for Germany in a few hours. Last minute packing then off we go to the airport. I’ll pop in for a visit if I get a chance

I hope all goes well for everyone and have fun.

Quick in and out... No call from installer so will have to muddle through until Monday... :crying1: :(

I did manage to get 3 Color Play LOs done yesterday and uploaded this morning... DD#3 and her 2 sons are coming over today to visit with DSon#2 (and me...:floorlaugh:). So I need to get dressed and ready for their visit. DSon#2 told me he is going to call an Uber tomorrow to take him to the airport. I haven't driven more than 5 miles since I have had Covid and it is 30 miles from my house to the airport and through a couple of construction zones. Have to admit that I am relieved to not have to do the drive.

I am still getting very tired if I do much so his visit has been a very laid back, visiting and watch movies in the evening. Thank goodness for frozen dinners and pizza and sandwiches!! He is fine with all of it. We both have slept in in the mornings and taken naps... I hear him stirring so time to close this out. HAGD

Good Morning!

Ugh no fun! Glad you had a laid back time with DS and that he will take an Uber. That's a huge stress off of you. I know after I was sick with covid in '21 it wiped my strength for several months. Hopefully you start to gain strength quickly.

I want to say nothing happening today but the is not the case. Gonna be another busy one. I love/hate Costco runs. First you have to sort the store and find what you want, then load the cart, then the car, then the house but added to that is church purchases and now I have to find where in the freezer/fridge things got put, load it in the car in coolers and get it to the church and put away. Feels like I'm whining and maybe I am. I can tell I missed my normal slow Thursday where I recover from Wednesday. I do know and am super thankful to God for the ability to move and not fall apart. The two (so far) surgeries have made a huge difference already. I'm looking forward to the next because I know it will make such a big difference. The lipedema can be managed. Surgeries make it more manageable for me and my joints hurt way less then before. The CMT is not as easily managed as, so far, you cant regrow myelin sheaths. But, I still hold out hope that one day maybe. But this year is better than last year. I can tell a huge difference for good. On that note, I was talking before about the leaves and their beauty. So while driving I told hubs to get me some photos of the termination dust and the beautiful golden leaves. I think that man took 200 photos!!! So, they will appear in some challenge layouts in the near future. I giggled as he took photos, all I heard was click click click click click for a couple miles.

Off and running on coffee alone! Have a great day!

I'm so glad the surgeries have helped!
COSTCO.....seems every time I go in there they have moved the coffee! I only buy a few things in there on a regular basis.....coffee, dog food are the main items. Sometimes meat, depending on what is coming up at church, etc. Snacks and supplements.....I wish they would move the snacks so I cannot find them! ;)

Mark and I went to breakfast today for the first time in a long time! IHOP was the stop because we were going to Harbor Freight in the same area of town.
He relieved me of "keeping him company" in the woods so I could start the laundry. The weather forecast is not looking good for us to do the Fireside Fellowship in the woods, but things could change overnight, LOL! Mark is routing the boards on the deck today. He got the steps done yesterday.
The chickens are cooked and deboned and ready for making the stew and dumplings. I need to look over my recipes for the stew and the Mexican cornbread. Mark is in charge of the dumplings. Lots of people signed up for dessert, but not much of anything else, so I'm going to make a run after while for some pimento cheese and bread and make some grilled pimento for anyone who wants a sandwich to go along with their soup. I'm thinking more along the lines that the men might want a sandwich to go with their soup more than the women!
Here's a picture of the deck with the steps (Piper has already laid claim to her new "raised bed") ;) :

Unfortunately we had rain yesterday, all through the night and into today. We have standing water in the driveway so we told everyone to go to the church instead.
