And I am so proud of myself that I gotta shout it from the rooftops!
Yesterday, I led my first Forest Bathing Walk at work, and I think I nailed it. I was nervous when the director asked me to do it a few weeks ago. My coworker, who has created/led this program for the last 2 years, is amazing at it. She is a tough act to follow and has lots of repeat attendees.
She was my backup support yesterday, but I didn't need her to step in at all. She told me afterward how awesome it felt for her to be able to simply enjoy the experience. And that if she didn't know, she never would have guessed it was my first time leading it.
If you told me that I could do this a year ago, I would have thought ya lost your mind.

Since I am a firm believer that strong women support and empower other strong women, I want to hear your success stories. Please tell me about something you did that you didnt think possible or that you are especially proud of.
I love sharing and amplifying "Girl Power."

!!!
Maybe it's just my imagination, but it seems to me the young adults today act like they are 10 years old!
Forest Bathing is walking through a forest or in nature while engaging your senses. It's called Shinrin-Yoku in Japan and there is plenty of research that backs up the positive physical and mental health effects of it. No wandering around naked or in a bathrobe at all
