Trouble Signing in...

Please help!
I have no trouble signing in to Oscraps on my laptop and Oona helped me a while ago to use the same password for both the forum and store.
But, each time I try to sign in from both my phone or iPad, it tells me I have the wrong PW and then eventually I time out and am locked out for awhile.

I have checked the PW multiple times, even copy and pasted it in and painstakingly make sure it is typed correctly, but to no avail. It keeps telling me its the wrong password.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

I'm wondering if this is missed or if anyone can help? I'm going to tag OOna again as I'm not sure who or where to ask, sorry!

Hi Marilyn! I did miss this sorry! Hmmm, the only thing I can think of is that there is a problem between your ipad and your phone? Maybe not syncing properly between the two devices? Is this something that has started happening recently? like, had you been able to access the forum and store from both your ipad and phone before?

I don't know much about using a phone or ipad to connect so can't really be of much help, the only thing I could do is perhaps reset your password. This means, when you go to log in to the forum or store then you would be prompted to add a new password....... you would do that for the forum and store using your ipad, and then straight afterwards use your phone to log into both places. Let me know if you would like me to do that. :)

Thank you so much Oona. My iPad is new so that's different, but I always signed in fine on the old one. Sometimes Apple remembers and fills in my PW for me but I haven't done that, I've typed it in myself with the eye turned on so I can actually see it's correct. It always was ok on my phone, so I don't know what that issue is. And, I'm totally fine here on my laptop!

Let me try again today with both devices and I'll get back to you, I so appreciate your help, thank you!

I can't understand why this only happened recently, but I guess it's the best solution to try.

Well, first off I should ask, I thought I remembered a while ago you fixed it so I used the same PW in the store and here on the Forum? Is that possible and true? I just tried to check it in the store, but it won't let me see what it is! I can see what the Forum PW is, but not my store one.

Hi Marilyn, I can't see any passwords behind the scenes, so I would need to just reset your passwords. The forum you are automatically logged into the gallery side as they are the same software, but not the store is a different type of software so they don't 'speak' to one another. However, you can use the same password for both the forum/gallery and the store.

I need to reset both the forum the store passwords. So when you log in (on either software) you will be asked to create a new password. Doesn't matter which one you log into first, after creating your password, make note of it and then log into the other one and use the same password.

I can do that now if you like but you need to log out of the forum and out of the store if you are logged in there. If you are around now, let me know if you would like for me to do that now and then you can log out. :)
 
It looks like you have logged off. I don't want to do any resetting until back from you so I will leave it until tomorrow. :) It's nearly 1.00am for me so I need to get to bed, chat tomorrow. x
 
Thank you, Oona! I'm so sorry, I'm just home now after a long day and of course! I saw that you'd replied from my email notification but since I wasn't home I couldn't sign into the Forum to actually read your reply or answer you!

I will sign out now, should I do that on each device or just here? Well, I guess that's a moot point since this is the only place I can sign INTO! :D

I did successfully sign into the Oscraps forum here on my laptop and then on my phone by resetting both to the PW you provided, YAY. I will try my iPad later but it's looking good.

I so appreciate your help and YOU. Thank you!

Oops, ok! I"m pretty sure I signed in ok to the store with my phone and laptop, but I forgot to check it on iPad. I was looking after a two-year-old all day and night so neglected that one. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, thanks Ona! :beatingheart:
