You can also choose LEAVE conversation as soon as you open and read it - so it never actually goes into your list. It's among the options of the open message - top right where the options are in a horizontal bar that says, EDIT, STAR, MARK UNREAD, LEAVE.

You can delete conversations quite easily. It's actually under LEAVE conversations. If you open up your conversation mail box (as Ona has mentioned above in post#14) you will see a list of your conversations and you will see small square check boxes towards the right hand side of the list...

Ona, you just need to tick/check the box (Edit custom title) in the registered user group permissions. EDIT......and I can see that you have now done that! :)

@wombat146 . . ..Ona, I think maybe you have that only set for admin and/or certain user groups. 'Ordinary' members such as myself don't appear to have that option.
