My journaling reads:
Without you, the house may be a little tidier, with fewer socks for me to pick up off the floor and less crumbs on the kitchen counters to sweep up.
Without you, the bed would be made everyday, the toilet seat would always be down and the damp towels hung up to dry, not left on the bathroom floor.
But without you, when I come home after work, the lights arent on, theres no chilled glass of wine waiting as I walk through the door and my side of the bed is always cold.
But without you, theres a gapping hole in my life and an aching in my heart. You are the other side of me. Without you, there is no me.
