How can I explain this without offending someone... well,I do believe in the rules to a point.. but when it comes to my art...I usually like the no rules approach the best.I love to just put it on the canvas..if it looks good to me,well then... thanks for looking!

I don't see any design rules being broken here at all, so I don't expect anybody will take offense at this lovely piece. I'm enjoying the unity, balance, and nice attention to color and texture, as well as your use of symmetry.
