Dave and I were at a time share in a tiny little town in Vermont that one of his golfing buddies had given us. The countryside was soooo beautiful, but we honestly didnt quite know what to do with our time other than side trips to NYC and Boston. And then one day, we went into a small town and found a darling little shop that sold home-made cheeses and smoked meats. We bought some smoked chicken, some of the local cheeses, some wine and crackers and the next day we packed it all up for a picnic. We hiked down to a creekHUGE, GORGEOUSand sat down on some big boulders. The first thing to come off was my tennis and the next was any form of decorum, as I slipped and stumbled through the creek, the rocks covered with slippery moss and refreshingly cool rushing water! We kept the wine chilled between some rocks in the rushing water and had just a wonderful time having our picnic, talking and enjoying the beauties of the nature that surrounded us!
