Wild Turkeys - Melancholy

We haven’t seen any wild turkeys since 2017. Saturday morning we heard Tilly growl, and saw six of them strutting across the pasture. It made us think of Johnny, who was somewhat successful in getting them started in our area, but then disappeared after he passed. Maybe they are making a comeback.
Credits list
ArtPlay Collection Melancholy
ArtPlay Palette Melancholy (Artsy Paper 7, script frame)
Melancholy FotoBlendz 1-2 (2X)
Melancholy WordART Mix No 1
MultiMedia Melancholy 1-1 (leaves, twig), 1-2 (butterfly, threadz)

Other assets used:
Paper Textures 19
MultiMedia Magic Sprinkles 3-5 (beads)

Artsy Paper 7 from the new APP Melancholy was placed for the foundation, with Melancholy FotoBlendz with my photo clipped to it. I added the second photo, clipped to the mask of the script Melancholy frame, then added another copy of FotoBlendz 1-2, resized to just slightly larger than the frame and clipped a duplicate copy of the photo to the fotoblendz layer and turned off layers C,D & E. Embellished with MultiMedia elements, adjusting the hue of the butterfly and beads. Finished with word art, date and Paper Texture.

We had wild turkeys at our golf course in San Jose, they always freaked me out. But so odd, how could they disappear and come back? I used to worry about what Cher would do if she saw one. She's a heavy dog but the turkeys might be bigger :) Nice use of the collection! I like the large photo of all the turkeys!

the dark colours give the page something very mysterious - just as nature itself is.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the wild turkeys will definitely return.

Ron thinks they were wiped out by a big snowfall around 2017, they can't escape predators and get up in the trees. But we also haven't seen any wild hogs since 2021, and we don't have a clue about that.
