Wild Turkey Crossing

Back in the early 19002 wild turkeys were hunted to extinction in Ontario but an exchange was made in the 1980s with Minnesota and Missouri. Ontario sent moose to Minnesota and river otters to Missouri in exchange for 200 wild turkeys. They have expanded rapidly and have become a fairly common sight at the cottage over the past five years .

I would love to send you some of our wild turkeys!! They are overrunning our golf course! But I do like your page :) Always fond of negative-like frames, and wonderful b/g!

What an amazing sight - so brilliant that you had your camera. And I love the back story, although I'm not sure that turkeysfor moose and otters is a great exchange rate!

What a great page! I love the series of photos and the leaf brushes are just perfect for the page.
