On a trip up north to Washington a few years ago I went off wandering around the area and discovered the Dalby Creek Water Wheel. A beautiful structure with so much history.

Lovely old water wheel
standing quiet and still
Left with thoughts
of days gone by
Deserted and alone,
Wild grasses high
Creek flowing past
Lazily carrying echoes
Preserved in time.
