I played with some artistic filters on the photo. (filters like: Dry brush,paint daubs,watercolor,sumi e) I made a painting and a sketched version and blended them together. I did some color enhancing on the photo to get a more purple look. I placed the music instruments behind the photo with a layer mask. Then I added a lot of the different strokes and brushes and gave them color. I placed the circles and filled them with colors. I started working on the hair with brushes from the Different strokes, and added all the splats. I added another music instrument on top of the photo and gave it a white stroke and a blending mode. Then I added the music notes (with color) and the little stars. I made a smoky misty effect with a brush from the Different strokes that I colored white! I used the same brush on top of the page totally blurred and low opacity, for some light effect.
