The aA Classics RePlay Challenge
Im going upstairs to take off my hat. Seriously? Who knew? Usually the old dowager has a killer line that sticks with me, but last year, when Mary said those words, it took the prize. I love Downton Abbey and I will miss it when it comes to an end this year. Julian Fellowes has created some very memorable characters, both upstairs and downstairs. Sigh. Love them all.

The Process: APP is my earliest kit and still a favorite. I used a lot of transfers and overlays from both Palettes as well as a mask. I beveled and embossed the transfer under Mary, recolored an overlay to blue to give contrast and lets be honest, Mary can be a little cold at times.
I clipped the ArtsyKard to the words Downton Abbey after duplicating the photo of the Abbey/Highclere 3 times, using blending modes and the top layer using the stamp filter to bring out the lines of the building a little more. Also used a FotoGlow on it to bring out more definition.
I used an action on the photo of Mary duplicating it three times, using different blending modes on it. Added tissue here and there for more texture and the elements and stitiching.
