Journaling reads:

Peace and calm
surrounded us
as our boat
skimmed through
the pristine
blue waters.

Three dolphins
swam past our boat
as we waited
hoping a fish would
bite our lines.

We hadnt been
sailing before.
This was the
first time our
children had
set foot on a
boat that wasnt
a ferry.

It was their
first time
fishing as well
and they were
in awe of
everything
around them.

I have so much
gratitude for
the generosity
and love shown
to us today.

Private boat
owners donated
their time, boats,
fuel and expertise
to enable children
with disabilities
like our children,
the opportunity to
sail and fish.

Each child was
gifted with a
fishing rod,
a bag of goodies
and an icy pole,
while the families
were treated to
a BBQ lunch, drink
and a band played
for entertainment.

What truly generous
and caring people
took part today.
We are humbled and
so grateful for
everything they did.
