My mother as a little girl, a young mum and as she is today!

I played about with masking to select the figures then layered them on a selection of transfers and overlays and lastly some brushes and gold paint! I love a bit of gold on a dark background!

Thanks Marleen - She is the Fashionista of the Care Home, all the staff comment on her style, she seems to have regained an interest in her clothes and jewellery!

She is doing better although her dementia will only progress; I had a good visit with her last week when she appeared to know me and was quite jolly but I've learned to just take every visit as they come, some weeks are good others not so good, but that's life!

Thanks Carol, it's great that we all have camera phones where we can capture these moments! This was my first visit to see her at the care home - outside visiting only so we were in a gazebo and it was a tad chilly!:)

Wow! Your compositing is wonderful and every day is special when you have a mom her age. Mine is long gone but would have been 100 in 2020. Your page is so heartfelt it makes me think of her.
