Rainy season
Finds me sneezin’
Headache, please go away!
Cold as ice
Snow is nice
But only for one day.
Friends so near
Loved ones dear
We gather on Christmas day.
Mom spoke
Dad is broke
Kids are happy for a day.
Tasty dishes
Loosen the britches
“We’ll diet tomorrow!” we say.
Sparkly lights
Shivering nights
A manger full of hay.
Baby sweet
Our Savior meet
Salvation is here today.
Became a man
That was the plan
To die for sin one day.
A sinless life
A sacrifice
Our sin He atoned that day!
His gift receive
Won’t you believe?
Is He calling your name today?
The time has come
