The Spillway
In the evening we walked maybe half a mile around the lake to the spillway. Two chipmunks were eating seeds and chasing each other. We had purposely not taken a camera. The next evening we returned with a camera. Chipmunks weren't there, but we hiked through the forest and rustled up a deer. On our way back to camp, we enjoyed sparrows singing and flowers lit by golden evening sunlight.
