Journaling reads: Cleaning in our house growing up was always set to music. Every Saturday, we were expected to do whatever chores were ours and clean the house. Dad would pop in the music - the eight track with Captain and Tenille, Neil Diamond, or Simon and Garfunkel, the vinyl and later the cassette tapes. The picture above was when we were the cleaning crew for my Grandma, but Im sure we had groovy music playing. To this day, hearing some of those songs takes me straight back to my childhood.
