story behind:
When we bought our house, which is in a very rural location surrounded by woods and wildlife, I bought some coat hooks with hand-carved rabbit heads (slightly kitschy).
My husband was strongly opposed to hanging them up, but since we have two entrances, I agreed with him that he could hang his hooks (made of stainless steel) in the lower entrance and I could hang my rabbit heads in the upper one.
Since I finished decorating ‘my’ entrance hall with the rabbit head hooks, he has been calling it the ‘rabbit hutch’. So I started painting pictures of rabbits and hanging them there.
(Now he likes it so much that he wants to have rabbit pictures too, but after all his teasing, he's not getting any. He can have any pictures he wants from me, except rabbits ;).
