This started out to be a facing page to my Magnolias page, thus I used the same ArtPlay Palette Crazy Life background paper. But I wanted a gray page to match my photo. I achieved this via ArtPlay Palette Aspera with an artsy paper set to Difference mode, then a solid gray on top. This let all the texture come through.

The photo is clipped to a transfer from APP Aspera. Two more copies of this transfer are layered behind the photo to extend the light paint up into the left corner. An additional copy of the photo set to Soft Light brightens the sun reflection in the water, and a 3rd copy set to Screen brightens the grass and sky. Different Strokes are placed between the photo and transfer layers to add dimension. More Different Strokes are used at the bottom to add 'dashes' in the water. A cream paper from APP Aspera is clipped to the word art to unify the colors.
