Photo: MorgueFile
Font: Spiff

Process Notes: Starting with solid paper 5 and placing the FotoBlendz Canvas on the left side, clipping solid paper 2 to it. Bringing in the FotoBlendz Overlay, I clipped artsy paper 2 to that layer. All these layers formed the bases of my foundation.

To the layered FotoBlendz 5 I clipped the photo after making it black and white and resizing both layers and positioning. I recolored the photo using a color overlay. The mask was blended to Vivid Light and the photo is on Normal. I duplicated the photo and put it on Soft Light blend mode. Over the photo/mask layer I placed an artsy card and blended to Darker Color.

I framed the photo layers with the laced frame, giving it a bevel and emboss. Bringing in the Southwestern brushes, placing, recoloring and I beveled and embossed the the building and cactus, giving them texture. I used colors taken from the palette to recolor these elements in the piece. Then I slipped in the word art under the large brush on the left and an artsy transfer at the bottom of the photo.

Over the photo layers are overlays, tape over the right side of the photo, tissue texture beneath the cactus, stains, foliage over the stamp, stitches and button. The title was blended to Color Burn. That completed this layout.
Love this Art page, great how you've blended the car, love the leaves you've added and the brush, super!!

Took me a while to find that pickup! Very cool photo effect, almost like the truck's been gilded, the way it might be in memory.
