Oh my, the foreshadowing is amping my anticipation. Food poisoning? If so, I really do know what you mean--my boyfriend (now husband) & I ate some Chinese food after Christmas one year, and he had some of my dish. We both got extremely sick. Should have gone to the hospital, but didn't (hey, we were college students, didn't know any better!). It was horrible. I sincerely hope that it wasn't this for your family!
