journaling Reads - This Happy Memory is forever burned into my mind. Like it
happened yesterday!! A rare picture with my father and
each time that I look at it the Memories come flooding
back to me. My Parents had 7 children and not much money
to throw around, so most of our summer vacations were
spent camping at the ocean. We would spend all day at
the beach and then all evening around the campfire, laughing,
telling stories and just having fun! This day my favorite
floating toy had a slow leak in it, but my father was a
wise man and always carried a patch kit with him. I remember
thinking that he was THE BEST DAD EVER!! and could fix ANYTHING!
I enjoyed the rest of our summer, swimming with my special
floating buddy.
