Sometimes it's hard being a teenager.
Mandurah (Western Australia) just experienced the unimaginable loss of 6 teenagers to suicide.

PROCESS:
I took the ALT 232 and switched all layers off. I gradually bought them back and changed/deleted/copied/etc.
I added the background paper and shrunk it so the scribbled writing was behind the photo.
I added another paper behind and just blended it to the shrunken one (one day I'll do a tutorial!)
Added a couple of transfers and overlays.
Added the Taped Textures No 6
Added the text.

striking pose of a troubled teenager. I was just reading yesterday that the suicide rate in teenagers has gone up and they are getting younger as well. Such sad statistics

It's so sad that teens can't see through the other side of depression. There is so much to be enjoyed. Very touching!

Depressions are horrible, for a teenager is this so very sad because most of the people don't understand what it really means. I'm chronic depresief for years, ups and downs, I'm so glad you made this page, for many people a great statement, thanks! This page is really fantastic and full of understanding!

Brings tears to my eyes. We had a brush with this a couple years ago...but, thank God, with a happy ending. Well, it's really not ended yet, but at least she is still alive. :'( Very powerful page.

What a fabulous LO - I wish more people were able to see your LO and hear your story there is hope and more to life than the "right now moment" My oldest son lost his BFF to suicide his Senior year and he has never gotten over it. - Thanks for posting this LO ;)
