Journaling: We walked to the lighthouse at Cape Disappoinment. The lighthouse sits out there at the edge of the land shining its light for all the ships to see. At one time someone lived there. probably an older man without a family. He would maintain th elight house and guide ships to safety. In the meantime he could just sit watching the waves and listening to the crashing of the waves on the surf. Although a possibly lonely life it could also be very peaceful.
