This summer we have had many visitors to our gardens, including honey bees (yay!!) and butterflies. This is a female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. we have also seen female Black Swallowtails, who were absolutely stunning. We know the males have to be around somewhere. Minding the larvae, perhaps?
