Process
Artsy paper 1 from APP Axiom was used as the foundation of the page. An Axiom FotoBlendz 1 psd. File was opened up. The photo was clipped to the large fotoblendz mask, duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light for more detail. The mask was resized larger to cover the photo. Using a soft round brush the dark areas around the photo were brushed out. The stain and texture layers were recolored, moved, duplicated and resized to best fit the image. The image was duplicated several more times (top layer changed to color burn) and clipped to the stain layer. A layer mask was added and using a texture brush some of the mask was hidden. The artstroke layer was recolored and the blending mode changed to color burn. The page was completed by adding word art, dimensional embellishments (the flower was recolored using the hue/saturation adjustment tool), transfers and overlays from the kit.
