Lambert's Cove is a truly magical place, especially at sunset. (Martha's Vineyard, MA)

Notes in Photoshop Elements 14

I selected a template that would work with my photos, clipped my photos into the frames, and clipped the big photo onto the template's central paint layer. (Check out the aA blog for a new video on using templates: https://www.annaaspnesdesigns.com/using-artsy-templates-video-tutorial/ )

I extended the sand bluff in the first framed photo by aligning the pattern on Artsy Paper #1 (duplicated, on color burn and color dodge modes) with the edge of the photo. The background is Artsy Paper #5 (linear burn blending mode) over Artsy Paper #3 (which added more bluff-like topography). I then clipped Pattern Paper #2, which is sky imagery, to several of the template's paint and stain layersthe blue was off, but that was easily adjusted with a hue/saturation level layer.

At the end I got a little more dimension on that big photo by giving the paint layer it was clipped to a large drop shadow. I added the title. Finally, I cast some light on the path with a FotoGlo to try to approximate our sunset walk and lit up the top photo as well. I finished up with the brads from the Artplay Palette, giving them a gold tinge by clipping on gold leaves on color burn blending mode. I also used the gold leaves elsewhere in my layout for some extra glitz, as befits a beautiful island sunset. I finished up with the Coastline Artplay Palette windscreen embellishment.
oh what a beautiful place! love the arrangement and the dimension/shadow of the wave. That windscreen is also a brilliant addition.

Fabulous place! Love the photos. I've never been to Martha's Vineyard, a place I'd like to visit.
