Sunday Different - Mother's Day Card 2012

I started out as a paper scrapper, making the odd card now and then (and about 120 of them at Christmas!) but since taking up digi scrapping I've not really made any cards as I always thought digitally produced cards looked too flat. Well, my shadow work has improved now so I thought I'd give card making a go again for Maya's Sunday challenge to scrap in a different format. And it being Mothering Sunday here in the UK last weekend, a Mother's Day card seemed like the perfect choice.

I seriously thought that you cut out the elements and pasted them on the card! Wow! Great shadowing. I would love to get a card like that.

This is fantastic!! It doesn't look at all flat. I'm sure i would have to touch it several times to make sure it was flat.

OK, now I'm going bonkers ... I swear I posted on comment on this card yesterday?!?!?! Anyhoo, I think what I said was that I love the way the "m" in Mother's Day is suspended from the thread ... great dimension, Selena!
