If you ask me, flowers are both ordinary and strange. How should I put this?
I can see flowers everyday at the supermarket,
in my garden, and in my neighbor's yards.
But after working on this project, I've found that looking and drawing are very different things.
Normally when I buy flowers I look for bundles of fresh ones.
But when the goal was to make them look "artistic", Sometime I found that single, 1/2 dried flowers were much more useful.
I also had to put a lot more time into figuring out angles and shading,
so I came out of this experience with a better ability to admire flowers.
I'm glad I took the ArtsyFlowers class!
