Sturt's Desert Pea

The common name honours the English explorer Charles Sturt, who recorded seeing it while exploring central Australia back in the early days of exploration. It's a groundcover plant. Quite small but unmissable in the desert.

Beautiful flower and love the bit of yellow! Love learning about Australia. We just met a lovely couple from Adelaide.

What amazing colors found in nature in some unexpected places. Love the transfers!!

I love it when you show us new plants and birds. And these colors! Wonderful!

Beautiful layout to showcase this delightful flower. What red! The little pea-shaped embellishments are a nifty touch. Especially love your use of the blue, which tones done the hot colors. Fabulous work!

This is a beautiful flower, I can't believe it's a ground cover!! Lovely page!!
