These aren't the greatest photos from our St. Patrick's Day fun, but hopefully they convey that we had a fun day. TFL!
Journalling:
Quite accidentally, we ended up on Pearl Street in Boulder during celebrations for St. Patrick's Day this year. When we got there for lunch with friends, Emmelia asked if we were at the circus. As it turns out, it was very similar. Emmelia was fascinated by various teenagers playing the fiddle for money. Maura's favorite street performer was a man dressed up as a dog. He played his part to the hilt and I'm not sure she ever realized it was a costume. She also enjoyed dancing to the music of a rock band playing on the Mall. We walked up a couple blocks so the girls could get some balloon animals made. We ended up with a butterfly, snail and ladybug. The long line at Ben & Jerry's was too long for Maura, who needed a nap, so we got ice cream on the way home instead. It was a fun day!
