When my family visited Fishermans Wharf for the 4th of July, we parked near some active workers. Some were getting some netting ready to go fishing, but others were processing squid. They were kind enough to let me watch them for a while, and I was very impressed with their catch. One way to tell how good a squid is the shine of their eyes, and these ones were glistening. If youre ever in the mood for calamari, Id definitely recommend Fisherman Wharf.

For Mothers Day, my family went to Napa to eat at an oyster restaurant I remembered. It was filling, and afterwards we went on a stroll to help our stomachs digest. The men in my family dont get to meet up that often anymore, so I took the chance to get some group photos.
