my Aunt Honey and Mom (r) as teenagers back in the '30s, getting ready to go to the Prom. i find this photo so touching. EVERYONE in our town was so poor and desolate at that time. and here are the girls, in the back yard of their shabby house, lighting up the place. i can't imagine where the gowns came from. Goodwill?
