Layout from an album I am making documenting my Humanitarian Mission to Ghana. I met so many amazing women there and learned so many life lessons. Another layout from this album was published in the Aug/Sep 2007 Simple Scrapbooks Magazine.
Journaling:
i went to africa expecting strange customs in a strange land...worlds away from my own.
what i found were women. strong, beautiful, loving,
sweet, caring women...just like me. i could never imagine what their world was like and they could not imagine mine, but we were the same in every way.
one heart
one world
one sisterhood
one amazing lesson learned.
