oh my GOSH... how NERVE-racking was this??!!?? i've been working on this page for over a WEEK now!! i *still* may change it. nothing i did for these pictures seemed to be good enough. haha. i've spent a lot of time in liz's gallery (and her shop! lol) for inspiration, that *certainly* helped!! sigh. this is my mom (and her best friend) in the top picture putting the garter on and then mom & dad in the bottom picture with dad taking it off. hehe i love everything about these photos. the vintage color tone (untouched) and feel of them, my mom's hair, the grin on my dad's face, my mom's shoes... sigh... i'm SOOOOOOOOOO happy to finally have my hands on these things!! now if i can just get them scrapped in a way that does them justice.
JOURNALING: Significance. These photos may not look like much, but they are crucial to everything. They mark the day that my life became possible. Not only is that top picture my favorite of their wedding photos, but it signifies so much. She was preparing for life. She was preparing for marriage. She was prearing for me. The subsequent events following this moment define your very existence. Through all of the hard times, through all of the laughs, tears, fears, and frustrations, it all come together to create my personality. This, in turn, designed yours. Isnt she beautiful? She completely gave her life over to us and for this, she is so very loved.
