Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
This is a remix of pieces of one of my mixed-media collages combined with an array of digital supplies from the new Festal release. The collage uses an old photo and papers, a variety of transparencies, and sharp mica chips embedded in beeswax. The digital supplies include multimedia branch clusters; stains; brushes, embellishments, and transfers from the Artplay Palette; and swoops, transfers, and text from the WordART kit.

For the background I used Artsy Paper #1 at an extremely low opacity, augmenting the pattern with brushes and the transfers/overlays in the Artplay Palette. The border is made from Solid Paper #1. The branch clusters on either side of the photo are made from a bunch of duplicates of the various parts of branch # 3, resized, recolored, and used on various blending modes. Because the branches are delivered as PSD files as well as PNGs, there's the latitude to play around with all the bits and pieces.

Buttons, a leaf, a tag, and a repeat of the Threadz from the multimedia branch completed this layout.
