When my dd was growing up, we would usually go to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park or Sea World just about every weekend. Living local and having a seasons pass took the pressure out of having to see it all in one day, and most times would go for just a few hours.
Journaling reads: how I love watching you run around the zoo. Your look of amazement is so heart-warming to see - checking out this new and very different world of new and interesting creatures. When you see the gorilla making faces, you squeal with delight.
