Process Notes: I began with the cardstock. I added the row of frames, modifying the shadows a bit. I added a copy of the photo to each frame. I copied the photo, placing it on top of the frames, and using the inverted masking method, added just the horse, allowing it to cover the frame. This also allowed me to modify the lights and darks of the horse without modifying the rest of the image, allowing me to bring in some extra detail. I added a variety of soft stains, artstrokes and spatters. I added a scripttease to the greens of the photo area in a soft white. I added the line of white text along the bottom edge, and finished the page by adding dusters name, giving the font a white stroke and soft, deep shadow. I added a portion of one of the FotoGlows Mix No. 2 along the line of the photo, placing it on blend mode soft light, warming up the photo just a bit. In addition, I added faint bokeh throughout the photo as well, placing it on blend mode Screen. It helped make the photo pop a bit more. I added a long loopdaloop artstroke in white along dusters running path.
Thanks for looking
Beautiful framing! Love how the horse is galloping through the page! Gorgeous, Joanie!

Yes! The linear design is perfect for this picture: the horse running from right to left. Love 'the movement' you've captured.

And thanks for 'picking' my layout for the lift-challenge this week. It's marvelous to see the creativity of all entries.
