My journaling reads: I do get a “sentimental” feeling when I pull out this Santa at Christmas. My parents bought three of them. One they kept, one went to Randy’s family and one went to us. It was Syd’s first Christmas at home. This little Santa plays “Rockin Around the Christmas Tree” and dances from side to side. Sydney would crouch down in a little squat in front of him and dance with him. I’m not sure why I never took a picture. I guess I was just so totally delighted watching my daughter enjoying herself. And, it really doesn’t matter because I have that picture of her cemented in my heart.
