Well, it's an interesting effect and a good try at something new. The flowers in front look like sketched flowers, the ones in back look a little more like snow. Have you tried using a sharpening filter on your image before you apply your watercolor effects to capture more small details? This works well with some images. You may already do this, but I don't know how well known this technique is.

This one is very interesting and I can see where it was a challenge.... It is a photo , you can actually look into...and it does draw you in...

i like the sharper details in the front with the softer blended buds in the background. it is lovely.
