Journaling:
Red Rocks Canyon was touristy. We escaped the throngs by heading out on a Jeep adventure. Rocky Gap Road was fun and challenging in spots, but we had to turn around when big boulders from a flash flood made it impassable. We saw one Pink Jeep and one other Jeep all afternoon.

Red Rocks Canyon National Conservation Area is just outside Las Vegas. Rocky Gap Road starts inside Red Rocks Canyon and leaves the park.

Instead of wildlife spotting, its Jeep spotting now. A pink Jeep. Love that! We have a lot of wilderness around here that was wonderful for getting away from it all without having to go great distances, but not any more. The very reason some people come here, is over run with people and getting spoiled and that's sad. Another wonderful page of your adventures.
