Process:
This photo was taken at a family Christmas party. When my Uncle Frankie didn't have a cigar in his mouth, he was quite the storyteller. I started this layout by inserting the photo into a plastic pocket and placing it on a mat made from stamping one of the brushes in the Brimming artplay palette. I duplicated the assembly and moved it upward. I then dragged in an overlay behind this, enlarged it, and clipped the same photo to it, making everything big. I used another overlay to texture my Uncle Frankie's tie, and then pulled in a variety of transfers and overlays for color and texture. I added the journaling, the title, and, lastly, stains and embellishments to complete the composition.
