The first time I went to Portovenere it was on a stormy yet warm night. I was standing by the castle, high above the sea level, and the strange warm wind was lifting sprays of salted water up to my face. An amazing full moon was half hidden by some clouds. A cat crossed the street and we could only hear the sound of the sea. I wished the time would have stopped...
But the second time I went there... I was still amazed by the beauty of the town itself. The image I saw that second time was more or less like this photo. And I felt in love of the town again
